How this academy was built

Originality

All lesson text, diagrams, cases, tools and charts are original GlobalVet material written from published veterinary consensus knowledge. Published schemes are taught with attribution and are never renamed as ours: the AO/OTA fracture classification and AO-school fixation principles, the Gustilo-Anderson open-fracture grades, COAST 2023 osteoarthritis staging, the 2024 ISFM/AAFP feline NSAID rules, the AAHA 2022 osteoarthritis guidelines, the PennHIP, OFA, FCI and BVA hip-screening schemes, and the 2022 TPLO-versus-TTA systematic review. The six named frameworks (the L.I.M.B. Exam, the L.A.M.E. Localizer, the P.L.A.T.E. Selection, the S.C.R.E.W. Sizing, the W.E.I.G.H.T. Plan and the S.T.I.F.L.E. Decision Plan) are GlobalVet teaching tools, not published clinical guidelines.

How the numbers are checked

Published values are attributed to the drug labels, consensus guidelines and papers listed below. The explicitly labeled course caution about a steep tibial plateau is a teaching prompt, not a published procedure-selection threshold. Drug ranges and diagnostic cut-offs are educational reference values. Before relying on any number, verify it against a current formulary and your practice protocols. Engine-drawn figures

Every diagram in the lessons, cases and tools is drawn by the course engine as inline SVG: gait schematics, landmark and axis diagrams, fracture descriptors, fixation constructs, decision trees and recovery timelines. Schematics are captioned as such. Real radiographs and gait films come only from the licensed image set — never AI-generated clinical evidence.

Licensed films and photographs

Radiographs, gait clips and clinical photographs are real and openly licensed (Creative Commons BY or BY-SA, or public domain), credited under every item. The licensed set is integrated beside its relevant lessons. Open the eight-film gait observation library. Published gait examples illustrate observation and localization; they are not calibrated pain-grading tests.
